Teddy Roosevelt National Park N. Dakota

Aug 2 Day 3
Driving in N Dakota was clean but very little to see, driving west on 92.
As we entered Theodore Roosevelt Nation park we came upon the same Winnebago and a nice Army couple, Jenise and David. This park has many colonies of Prarrie Dogs.  They can carry the Plague and spread it to humans, we can get medicine but it kills the colony of dogs so the government flys over dropping M&M candy filled with vaccine.  They hope this will cure the problem. It will save the ecosystem. We enjoyed the lecture with our new Winnebago friends.  Thanks Billy and Josie we used your lantern to see the path back to our camp.  At 8pm Ranger Rick comes over and says no generators from 8pm to8am, now what our food will spoil. Ranger comes back and felt bad so he said we could go to a overlook and they will not bother us for the night.
As we are leaving the park we run into a Theodore Roosevelt look alike and he really looks like him.
Judge for yourself.
