Valdez and the LuLuBelle

Well we hit pay dirt today Valdez (long E) in the Northeast section of Prince William Sound was an 8 on our list of great places to visit.  Would have been a ten if the day was sunny and warm. We finally got our Salmon dinner and learned there are 3 types of Salmon. All caught nearby.
King=Chinook
Silver=Coho
Red= Sockeye
We had silver made in 2 different ways and then shared.
We also took a cruise on the LuLuBelle, it was a 9 hour cruise to the Columbia Glacier. Captain Fred was a fount of info and well worth the 130 bucks we paid.  Love the soup and hot chocolate.  Saw Puffins, seals, killer whales and porpoise.
