Glacier National Park Montana

Aug 3 Day 4

Montana, Big Sky Country, they really need some towers in that big sky.  Phone calls and computer connections are lousy. Drove west on 2 and spent the night in Cut Bank, Riverside  RV park, on our way to Glacier National Park.  Drove 50 miles to make the big Red Bus tour called The Road to the Sun but there was no sun it was a cold and rainy day. Very little visibility.
Ask us about:
2 dog night (how many dogs you have to sleep with to stay warm)
Road to the sun (Indian God ran up the mountain to the sun and they never saw him again)
Squirrels  (Was so crazy about seeing wildlife when I saw this little animal I was snapping photos like crazy and finally Dom said, "Madge those are squirrels") they were pretty squirrels.
Continental divide (water on one side of the mountain flows to the Pacific other side to the East)
What makes a glacier (must be 25 acres 10 ft deep and moving)
Blackfeet Indians why are they called Blackfeet (started fires to herd the Buffalo to them then ran through the ashes for the kill hence Black Feet.
Goose Island (love story about 2 indians from different tribes that were in love, they met on this island and wanted to be together and prayed to the Gods. When the tribe came to get them they only found 2 Geese)  Hence the Island in the one photo) very small island strain your eyes.
Russian bridge (such a lousy job of construction it must have been made by Russians)
After the tour we decided to stay another day stayed at the Johnsons  RV Park.
                                                                Columbian squirrel

Red tour bus
                                                                 Russian bridge
                                                               only real glacier we saw
                                                              I think Canada had more
                                                                         Blackfeet
